One thing I insist for all my clients is to measure achievements in weight loss and improved nutrition with scientific tests. Ideally, your primary care physician would have CBC and CHD records that would monitor your glucose, red blood cell count, hemoglobin, white blood cell count, liver function as well as levels of good and bad cholesterol. In some cases, EKG and stress tests are part of a medical profile. As we see results in weight and body fat loss and increase in muscle mass, it is beneficial and reassuring that my clients go back for a medical checkup to have their physician note their accomplishments and get new numbers in their lab work. Ours is a team effort.
